A new version of Remote Desktop (the application used to access the Revu server) has been installed on all workstations. It has been renamed to Windows App and is functionally the same. In addition to the name change, it provides greater compatibility with macOS Tahoe.
Going forward, please discontinue using Remote Desktop and use Windows App instead. There are a few steps required:
Remove Remote Desktop from your Dock by dragging it out of the Dock.
Open the Applications folder and locate Windows App. Drag this to your Dock for quick access.
When you launch Windows App for the first time, you will be prompted to allow Local Network access, which is required. You might see one or all of the prompts shown below. Please ensure that Local Network access is enabled.
Remote Desktop will remain installed on your workstation until a smooth transition has been completed.
If you have any questions or need a hand with anything, please reach out to MacTechs via ServiceDesk.
