The steps below will guide you through the process of upgrading your computer’s operating system to macOS Tahoe. To confirm whether this process applies to your computer, please reference Apple menu > About This Mac:

If your computer’s operating system is currently macOS Sequoia, please follow the steps below. Disregard this upgrade if your computer is already running macOS Tahoe. The upgrade will take 30-60 minutes and can be done either in the office or from home.

1. Quit all open applications.
2. Launch System Settings > General > Software Update.
3. Locate the macOS Tahoe option and select Upgrade Now.
4. Allow 30-60 minutes for the upgrade to complete.
