An update to Viscosity is available in Managed Software Center. This is recommended for all workstations, as it includes performance improvements and compatibility fixes.

The Viscosity 1.12.1 update requires a logout from your computer. Once logged out, Viscosity will immediately be updated, a process that will take 1-2 minutes.

Please take a moment to follow the steps below to install the Viscosity update. Thank you!

• Save and quit any open applications.
• If you are remote, ensure Viscosity is active.
• Launch Managed Software Center.
• Select the Updates tab and press the COMMAND and R keys to refresh. The Viscosity update will be listed. Please note you may see other unrelated software updates. Ignore any prompt to upgrade to macOS Tahoe.
• Click Update.
• When prompted, choose Log Out and Update.
• When the update is complete, log back in. If you are remote, re-establish a Viscosity connection.
